  GSA Introduction

What is the General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule?
The GSA Federal Supply Service provides federal agencies with a simplified process for obtaining information technology (IT) services. It's the fastest, most cost-efficient method available to Government ordering offices to procure supplies or services. Orders placed through the GSA Schedule are considered to be issued pursuant to full and open competition.

GSA has already determined the prices cited in the Schedule to be fair and reasonable. This means that ordering offices don't need to seek further competition, synopsize their requirement, or make a separate determination of fair and reasonable pricing. This makes the GSA Schedule a powerful new tool for Government Project Managers.

Why use the GSA Schedule?

  1. It's fast. The GSA Schedule ordering process can be accomplished in as little as one day .
  2. There are no limitations on order size. There are no minimum or maximum order restrictions.
  3. You get the best price. Prices reflect volume purchasing rates.
  4. There are no pass-through costs. Published rates are the rates you pay.
  5. You enjoy a direct working relationship with the vendor. There's no third-party involvement --you work directly with us.

How do I Place an Order for CTA Services on the GSA Schedule?

  1. Placing an order for CTA services is as easy as 1-2-3. Ordering Offices should:
  2. REVIEW the catalogs/price lists of at least three schedule contractors.
  3. DETERMINE which contractor represents the best value to the Government.
  4. ISSUE your agency-specific Purchase Order Form or an Optional Form 347, Order for Supplies or Services.
